AnnouncementTypeText StringEstablishes the Announcement Type through any unique character string. See the Page on Unique Announcement Types for more information. Use with FilterByAnnouncementTypes="True"
CommunityKeyGUID (Community Key)Displays the Announcements for a specific Community using the Community Key of the Community. See the Page on Unique Announcement Types for more information.
CssClassText StringModifies the display of the Content Item by directing it to use a specific set of styles.
FilterByAnnouncementTypesTrue or FalseIf set to "true" Parameter designates an Announcement Type.  Use in combination with the AnnouncementType Parameter
FilterByMicrositeTrue or FalseWhen set to "true" it will use the Community Key of the microsite. Only applicable to Announcement Content Items on Community Microsites. Generally exists on the Community Microsite models by default.
HideIfNoDataTrue or FalseIf set to "true" Parameter will hide the entire content item if there are no Announcements to be displayed.
IsRSSEnabledTrue or FalseIf set to "true" the Parameter turns RSS on. A RSS icon will be seen in the Content Item header.
MoreLinkPageCodeText String

Announcements can be truncated through use of the NumOfCharsToDisplay Parameter. The standard Announcements display on a home page shows only the first 250 characters of the announcement.

For each Announcement, a "more" link to read the entire Announcement appears following the text displayed. This Parameter allows the Admin to send the user to the same page to view the complete text.  Generally, this page displays the same Announcements as the referring Content Item, but shows all the text for each Announcement.

MoreLinkTextText StringAnnouncements displays often do not display all Announcements of that type, only a number of the most recent. At the bottom of the Content Item displaying announcements is a link to "Read More" Announcements, which generally delivers the user to a main announcements page where the entire Announcements list is provided.

This Parameter allows the link "Read More" link to be customized. A popular alternative is "View the Announcement Archive"
MoreLinkUrlText StringAnnouncements displays often do not display all Announcements of that type, only a number of the most recent. At the bottom of the Content Item displaying announcements is a link to "Read More" Announcements, which generally delivers the user to a main announcements page where the entire Announcements list is provided.

This Parameter allows the link "Read More" link to render a page where all announcements can be read.
NoDataTextText StringThis Parameter allows Admins to customize the text displayed when no announcements are posted.  It is another option to hiding the Content Item when through the HideIfNoData Parameter.
NotLoggedInNoDataTextText StringThis Parameter allows the customization of text shown to users who are not logged in.  The default is "please login to see this content".
NumberToShowNumberDetermines the number of Announcements to show in the Content Item. The default is 5.
NumOfCharsToDisplayNumberDetermines the number of characters of the Announcement to display prior to showing the "more" link. Absent this Parameter the entire Announcement will display.
ReadMoreTextText StringAnnouncements can be truncated through use of the NumOfCharsToDisplay Parameter. For each truncated Announcement, a "more" link to read the entire Announcement appears following the text displayed. The use of this Parameter allows the Admin to replace the link text "more" with any string of text.
ReadMoreUrlText String

Announcements can be truncated through use of the NumOfCharsToDisplay Parameter. The standard Announcements display on a home page shows only the first 250 characters of the announcement.

For each Announcement, a "more" link to read the entire Announcement appears following the text displayed. This Parameter allows the Admin to send the user to a page to access the complete text.  This can be used to announce content from a main website on the Connected Community site, and allow the links to go to main website.

RSSLinkTextText String

The IsRSSEnabled="true" Parameter establishes an RSS icon on the header of the Announcements Content Item. This icon contains a hyperlink to the RSS feed URL.

Use of this Parameter establishes text next to the RSS icon image.

ShowAddEditDeleteTrue or FalseAdmins with rights to manage Announcements will see links to Add, Edit and Delete. Use of this Parameter disables these links. Generally, this Parameter is only used on secondary displays of an Announcement.
ShowAllAnnouncementsTrue or FalseWhen set to "true" this Parameter displays all Announcements a user has access to see. This is often used to display the Announcements of all communities and all Announcement Types in a single Content Item.
ShowAnnouncementsWithNoTypeTrue or FalseWhen set to "true" this Parameter displays only those Announcements without a specific type or Community affiliation.
ShowAuthorTrue or FalseWhen set to "false" this Parameter will hide the profile-linked name of the Author.
ShowPublishDateTrue or FalseWhen set to "false" this Parameter will hide the date of publication.
ShowReadMoreLinkTrue or FalseSetting this Parameter to "false" will not allow the user to click to see a more complete listing of these Announcements.  This Parameter is generally used on the main Announcements page accessed through other "Read More" links.
