How to manage mail processing rules
From here, you can manage the configuration for Discussion subscriptions and inbound email posts/replies.
NOTE: These settings only affect posting and replying to Discussions via email, not via the Discussion directly.

|Display Name of Plain Text Subscription||The text displayed for plain text subscriptions.|
|Allow Users to Post/Reply via Email||
Controls whether users can post and reply to Discussions via email. If disabled, users can only participate via the Discussion directly.
|If posting/replying via email is ON, the following fields are enabled:|
|Who Can Post/Reply via Email||By default, all community members can post/reply via email. If Real-time plain text subscriptions are enabled, however, you also have the option to allow posting/replying via email by these subscribers.|
|Allow Users That Have Not Accepted the Code of Conduct to Post/Reply||Controls whether users who haven't accepted your site's Code of Conduct can post/reply via email. If enabled, you can also control whether these users' posts are queued in Moderation, which may be a good idea to ensure their posts can be reviewed before posting to a Discussion.|
|Allow Reply By Email from Daily Digest||Controls whether users can reply to a Discussion post via their Daily Digest email.|
|Allow Attachments||Controls whether users can attach files when posting/replying via email.|
|Reject Messages With Attachments||Controls whether email attachments are allowed in Discussion emails. If you don't want users including attachments in their Discussion emails, toggle this to OFF to reject email messages with attachments.|
|Allow HTML Content to be Posted||If attachments aren't allowed, use this field to control whether HTML content can be posted.|
|Discard Embedded Images Smaller Than||If HTML content is allowed, set the minimum size embedded images must be to not be discarded.|
|Discard Embedded Images Replacement Text||If HTML content is allowed, provide the text you want displayed in place of images that are discarded.|
|Moderate All Posts/Replies Sent via Email||Controls whether ALL posts/replies sent via email are queued in Moderation for review by an admin.|
