The Higher Logic API is designed for ease of communication by client-side JavaScript and server-side (PHP, C#, Perl, etc.) technologies. Because the technologies used by organizations vary, the Higher Logic API is built to enable access, via HTTP, to community data and functionality for any development platform.
Details
- We do not explicitly rate-limit our API
- As a general rule, our guidance for acceptable use is in the range of 180 to 240 calls per minute (3 to 4 per second)
- We may block your IP if we see excessive usage (i.e., sustained activity above that range)
