Higher Logic Thrive Marketing Professional (Thrive Marketing Professional) displays remote personalization fields as table columns in your account. These personalization fields are ultimately cached in Thrive Marketing Professional, and are refreshed:
- once a week (via an automated system process) or
- manually.
When enabled, these personalization fields appear as selectable columns in any subscriber listing, and you can preview data in those fields.
Activate cached personalizations
You must select the fields you wish to cache from the List of Attributes page.
- Navigate to Admin > Setup > Bridge Configuration.
- Click List of Personalization Attributes to open the Personalizations page.
- The page has collapsible sections based on target group type: Salesforce Contacts and Salesforce Leads.
NOTE: If your account uses the Exclude Leads logic, the Salesforce Leads section does not display.
- Expand a section to display the list of subscribers. Check the boxes in the Caches Data column to have those personalizations cached. You can select up to 20 fields per target group type.
- Click Save Changes & Refresh Cache.
- If you have selected at least one field, the cache is refreshed and a confirmation message displays.
- If you do have not selected any fields (or if the integration bridge is down), a corresponding error message displays.
Refresh your personalization cache
- Navigate to Admin > Setup > Bridge Configuration.
- Click the Refresh Personalization Cache button to sync the cache. The status of your most recent sync is listed next to the button.
NOTE: When you publish a mailing to a remote subscriber, Thrive Marketing Professional inserts personalization values based on the tiered-approach logic that is described in Personalization Caching for Integrations.
Troubleshooting cached personalizations
If you're having issues with your cached personalizations, use the following questions as a starting point for your troubleshooting.
- Has at least one field been selected for caching?
- Have the most recent changes been saved?
- Has the Personalization Cache been refreshed?
- Is there are problem with my integration Bridge Connection?
