You can manage advanced design settings that apply to all of the pages across your site.
This article describes how to:
- link to external CSS stylesheets and JavaScript URLs,
- add custom meta tags,
- add Robots.txt and Sitemap.xml content, and
- set Apple iTunes App and Google Tag Manager account IDs.
Access the Advanced Settings page
To access the page-design settings:
- In the Admin Toolbar, click Admin.
- Navigate to Pages > Design > Advanced Settings.
You are on the Advanced Settings page.
Configure the advanced settings
This section describes how to configure the advanced-settings fields.
When you have finished configuring the setting, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save to preserve them.
External URLs
- Check the Enable External CSS and Enable External JavaScript boxes to use these features.
- In the fields, specify the URLs that link to the external CSS stylesheets and JavaScript files that you want applied to your site.
- Use a pipe character ( | ) to separate multiple URLs.
- Uncheck a box to disable the feature.
Meta tags
- In the field, add the custom meta tags that you want applied to your site.

Application crawlers
The Robots.txt and Sitemap.xml content lives at the root of your site and instructs application crawlers about which areas of your site should not be processed or scanned.
- In the fields, add the robots.txt and sitemap.xml content that you want applied to your site.

External account IDs
- In each optional field, add your associated ID to link to your account.
- Click Find your Apple iTunes App ID for assistance on the Apple support site.
- Click Find your Tag Manager ID for assistance on the Google support site.
