Submission options are accessed from the Survey Properties used to specify survey close date, maximum number of respondents, multiple responses, and response editing permissions.
The defaults create an open-ended form or survey (in terms of responses & close date) with responses that cannot be edited.
Can I specify a closing date for the survey?
Yes. If you choose to specify a close date, further options are opened, including the ability to customize the text of a respondent will see if he/she attempts to submit the survey AFTER the close date.
Can I specify the maximum number of respondents?
Yes. You can specify the maximum number of respondents. When that limit is reached each subsequent survey response will display text that you can customize.
Can I allow or prevent multiple responses from the same person?
Yes. Recipients may be allowed to respond several times to your survey or form. If you allow multiple responses, the first response from a recipient is attributed to that recipient, but any subsequent responses will be anonymous. Anonymous responses cannot be edited.
How can I allow respondents to edit their submissions?
The survey or form may be enabled to allow respondents to edit their submissions. From the Survey Properties click the “Define Submission Options.” Select “Yes” for the “Allow editing of responses?” option.
In order for a respondent to edit his/her submission they must click on the link to the survey from within the email. The survey will then be displayed populated with their original submissions. They can then make any edits.
