In this article, you'll learn where to find Higher Logic's default email templates, Automation Rules, and reports for Volunteer Manager.
Email Templates
To access and manage Higher Logic's default Volunteer Manager email templates:
- In the Admin Toolbar, click Admin.
- Navigate to Email > Email Management > Email Templates.
- Select Volunteer from the Category menu.
TIP: These are the default emails that will be sent to volunteers as they progress through the volunteer process. Keep in mind you can configure which templates are sent at the Opportunity Type level (or you can choose not to send one of these emails at all).
Automation Rules
To access and manage Higher Logic's default volunteer Automation Rules:
- In the Admin Toolbar, click Admin.
- Navigate to Automation > Automation Rules.
- Select Ribbon from the Show menu, and then scroll down the page to locate the four Rules at the bottom. The Volunteer Pool Rule automatically assigns a Ribbon to volunteers who opt-in to the Volunteer Pool, while the other three automatically assign Ribbons to volunteers who accumulate a specific number of volunteer points (you may need to schedule these Rules).
NOTE: Refer to the Automation Rules section to learn more about configuring, creating, managing, and measuring the success of Automation Rules.
Reports
While the Volunteer Dashboard (see Monitor Your Volunteer Program) enables you to quickly monitor a few of the more important aspects of your Volunteer Program, you can also run a number of Volunteer reports to dig a little deeper.
- In the Admin Toolbar, click Admin.
- Navigate to Programs > Volunteer > Reports.
On the resulting page, you'll be able to run the following reports:
