A Higher Logic site offers three levels of Administrator permissions. Each level gives the assigned users the privileges that are necessary for them to fulfill that administrative function in the organization.
- Super Admins have the highest level of access to a Higher Logic site. They can do everything that Site Admins and Community Admins can do. Super Admins can see and access all content and communities on an Online Community site, plus they have access to a host of Super Admin-only tools and functionality, accessible in the Admin interface.
- Community Admins have privileges that are restricted to the community in which they have this permission level. They can update their community's join and view permissions; add and remove Community Admin access; add members; restrict and remove current members; run reports; moderate member activities; manage community events; manage community Volunteer Opportunities; and perform other tasks as indicated in the tables below.
IMPORTANT: In communities that have a Microsite, Community Admins automatically have Site Admin privileges also. This is true of a community that becomes associated to a microsite, too; that community's Community Admins automatically inherit Site Admin privileges for that community.
- Site Admins can update their site's layout; apply a theme; upload site imagery; set up advertisements; manage their Volunteer program; use the CMS to edit, create, and remove pages and content; and perform other tasks as indicated in the tables below.
NOTE: See Manage Site, Community, and Super Admins to learn how to grant/remove these three levels of access.
