You can manage your site's default Signature that will be added to ALL Discussion messages on the Signature page, located in the Admin interface.
NOTE: Users can create a custom signature to override this default, if desired.
How to access the Signature page
- Click Admin in the Webmaster Links menu.
- Click Admin.
- Select Signature from the Communities > Discussions > Setup menu.
How to create a default message signature
When users post to a Discussion, the system automatically appends their Discussion Signature to the bottom of their messages (unless they've chosen to not include one).
On this page, you can:
- Choose the variables available to users when creating a custom signature.
- Using the variables enabled in the Signature Configuration area, create the default signature to be used for all users.
NOTE: Users can create a custom signature to override this default, if desired. They can do so from their profile by selecting Discussion Signature from the My Account menu.
