Some organizations have different departments, chapters, sub-groups, etc. Because these different groups may have different query needs, Informz has a filtering mechanism for netFORUM Enterprise queries: Informz can provide a subset of netFORUM Enterprise queries to any child accounts that branch from your main account. This way, if you have multiple groups using Informz, you can organize and separate your subscribers with absolute precision.
Steps
To create a subset, you must create a list filter, enclosed in parentheses, in the query name. You are only required to include this filter text after the initial text of Informz in the query name. Below are two examples of how a filtered query might be named:
- Informz (Child Account) – Query 1
- Informz Query 1 (Child Account)
Informz associates the unique string with a child account so that retrieval is limited to queries (target groups) with the filter. This can be done during the initial implementation process or whenever a child account is created.
As with any queries for Informz in netFORUM Enterprise, all child account queries must begin with the text Informz. Query names without a parenthetical list filter appear in the parent account by default.
