As an admin, you have the ability to grant or restrict access to specific Higher Logic Thrive Marketing Enterprise (Thrive Marketing Enterprise) pages and features on a per-user basis. These permissions are associated to a user's login.
Set user login permissions
- Navigate to the Tools tab.
- Click Permissions on the left sidebar, and then click Permissions by Login.
- On the resulting page, each user on your account is listed. Select the desired user, and then click Permissions.
- All available permissions are grouped by category. Select a category to view its associated options, and grant/restrict the user's access to each by checking/unchecking its associated box. Refer to the Permission Categories section below for more information about each option.
- Once finished with your selections, click Save to implement your changes.
Controls the user's access to the Social Dashboard:
|Ability to create a message.
|Ability to delete a message.
|Ability to create Dynamic Content.

|Forward to Friend Link
|Ability to retrieve forward-to-a-friend link.
|Image Library Permission
|Ability to view the image library.
|Save Message As
|Ability to create a copy of a message using the “Save as” function.
|Social Network Access
|Ability to insert the social network URL that allows a recipient to share the content of your link and message across their social network.
|Web Version Message
|Ability to enable or disable the web version for messages.
|Controls whether the user has access to an old version of Themes for the classic version of the Message Editor. Clicking on the Themes button would result in the themes menu sliding out from the right side of the page.
|Grants the user permissions to edit the message in Email Code view for either a template or a message.
|Images Access Level
|Controls the user's access level to the Image Editor (i.e., can the user edit images or not).
|Modify Editor Asset Permissions
|Ability to modify user permissions in the editor (e.g., allow users to create templates).

|Restricted to only pasting plain text into a message.

Controls whether the user can create Themes in the Message Editor.
If the permission is set to Personal, they can create custom themes but won't be able to share them with other users.

|If group categories are enabled as an unsubscribe type, this grants a user the ability to archive group categories.

Ability to delete the group, disassociating the recipients.
NOTE: This does not delete the recipients, only their association with the deleted group.
|Ability to delete recipients from database.
|Export Search Recipient Data
|Determines whether a user can export the results of a search. If unchecked, when a user attempts to export the results of a search, they will receive a warning indicating that they do not have permissions to perform the action.
