A Personal Information profile field is where you store information about your contacts. You can store contacts' details such as first name, age, and date of birth. Data can be typed directly into these fields, but most of the time you'll be using the upload feature to populate them.
After these fields are created and populated, they can be used for personalization and targeting.
IMPORTANT: Higher Logic cautions against deleting Personal Information profile fields, because if a field is used in data formats or target groups and is then deleted, that information will be incomplete and the system will not be able to read it. If you do try to delete the information, the system will display an error message.
