Web Tracking's analytical power increases exponentially when you view the results through the Higher Logic Thrive Marketing Professional (Thrive Marketing Professional) message reports. You can view Web Tracking data for any of your account messages that contain links to Web Tracking pages of your website.
Let's look at how you can view some basic performance data for messages that contain these links.
View message reports
Classic Admin interface
- Navigate to Mailings > View.
- On the Sent tab, hover over the menu icon and select Report.
- Click the Key Metrics tab and scroll down to view high-level Web Tracking information.
New Admin Experience
- Navigate to Messages > List.
- Click the menu to the right of the page title and select Sent to view your sent messages.
- Select a message in the list and click More > Track.
- Click the Key Metrics tab and scroll down to view high-level Web Tracking information.
Message report metrics
While this is a high-level view, the details for each item metric can be quite comprehensive. Each of these metrics is explained below.
NOTE: Click the links in the Number column to view the related report in the Details tab.
Unique Visitors
This is the number of unique visitors to your site. It is not individual sessions, only individual users.
Example: If User-Steph logs in to your site at 8:00 am and then again at 2:00 pm on the same day, this metric counts only one because User-Steph is one unique visitor, irrespective of how many times User-Steph visited.
The related report is Subscriber Summary.
Unique Pages
This is the number of page loads on your website by subscribers who opened your message.
Example: If User-Steph logs in to your site at 8:00 am and views page-Events, and then logs in again at 2:00 pm on the same day and again views page-Events, this metric counts counts two; one for each of User-Steph's unique page views.
The related report is Subscriber Page Detail.
Interaction
This is the total of all interactions conducted by a subscriber who accessed your website through a link in a message. One subscriber can have multiple interactions on one visit to a web page.
Example: If User-Steph downloads the same PDF twice and then watches a video, this metric counts three interactions.
The related report is Subscriber Interaction Detail.
Purchases
This is the number of individual purchases. One subscriber can make multiple purchases.
Example: If User-Steph buys a membership, then buys a mug, and then subscribes to a monthly program, this metric counts three interactions.
The related report is Subscriber Purchase Detail.
Purchase Total
This is the total cash value of all purchases.
The related report is Subscriber Purchase Detail.
