Message report metrics
While this is a high-level view, the details for each item metric can be quite comprehensive. Each of these metrics is explained below.
NOTE: Click the links in the Number column to view the related report in the Details tab.
Unique Visitors
This represents the number of unique visitors to your site. It will not track individual sessions, only individual users. For example, if the same user logs into your site at 8:00 am and then again at 12:00 pm on the same day, this number will still only count one unique visitor.
The related report for unique sessions is Subscriber Summary.
Unique Pages
This represents page loads on your website by subscribers who opened your message. Using the example above, when the same user logs into your site at 8:00 am and then again at 12:00 pm on the same day, it will count as two page views.
The related report for unique sessions is Subscriber Page Detail.
Interactions
This represents the total of all interactions conducted by a subscriber who accessed your website through a message. Like page loads, one subscriber can have multiple interactions on the same site/webpage. If a subscriber downloads the same PDF twice and then watches a video, this will count as three interactions.
The related report for Interactions is Subscriber Interaction Detail.
Purchases
Like page loads and interactions, this tracks each individual purchase (one subscriber can make multiple purchases).
The related report for interactions is Subscriber Purchase Detail.
Purchases Total
This number shows the total cash value from all purchases. This metric is also related to the Subscriber Purchase Detail report.
