The Mailing Summary Reports include several reports that provide mailing details associated to the various domains that you send to.
NOTE: References to Message Summary Reports reflect a current rebranding initiative. Message Summary Reports and Mailing Summary Reports refer to the same set of reports with the same options and functionality.
Access the Message Summary Reports
Classic admin interface
- Navigate to Mailings > Reports > Mailing Summary Reports.
New Admin Experience
- Navigate to Messages > Reports > Message Summary Reports.
After filtering the messages for which you're interesting in viewing data on the Select Messages tab, click View Reports. The reports discussed in this article can be found in the Domains folder.
- Major Domains - Presents a list of all the major domains that have been sent to in the mailings you specified on the Select Messages tab. This list can be customized to include many types of data. The most important piece of information related to domains is the open rate. If you notice a lower open rate for one major domain, it's worth investigating whether you have a deliverability issue with that domain.
- Generic Domains - Presents a list of all the generic domains that have been sent to in the mailings you specified on the Select Messages tab. This chart area can be customized to include many types of data. Generic Domains is a high level of analysis for your e-Publishing status. However, if you notice a lower open rate for a generic top-level domain, then it's worth examining whether you have a deliverability issue with that top level domain.
- Country Domains - Presents a list of all the country domains that have been sent to in the mailings you specified on the Select Messages tab. This chart area can be customized to include many types of data. Country Domains is a high level of analysis for your mailing effectiveness. If you notice a lower open rate for a given country domain, then it's worth examining whether you have a deliverability issue with that top level domain. On the flip side, you may realize one mailing resonates very nicely with a specific country audience.
TIP: For all of these reports, you can click the Columns button above the list to control which data columns are displayed. This enables you to fine-tune the precise data you want before exporting.
Share the Domains reports
In all of these reports, you can click the Export button above the list to share the report with colleagues. Then, click Download Excel File in the resulting pop-up.
