One of the main ways people have been engaging with their peers and organizations for decades is through volunteering. Many organizations already have members who volunteer, especially at the local level, but quite often this data is not properly managed or tracked and goes unnoticed at the national level. This potentially leaves untold numbers of highly engaged members in the dark and their potential in the organization or community untapped.
