Admins can run several important reports to generate data about the health and engagement of the communities within their Higher Logic site.
NOTE: Community Admins can run these reports for their specific community; Super Admins can run these reports for any community.
Accessing a community's reports
From a community's home page:
- Click Settings.
- Click Reports.
The resulting page lists each of the available community-based reports.
- Click View Report to generate the report you want.
NOTE: The data in these reports are dependent on the settings on the PII page. If a setting (such as Email Address or Phone Numbers) is not toggled to ON, the respective user data will not be included in these reports.

Report | Description |

All Threads Answer Activity |
Provides aggregate data for each community's discussion and question activity, such as the percentage of discussions/questions with a best answer, the average time to response, and average time to best answer. This report includes data for both the general discussion and questions thread types. |
Answered Thread Activity |
Provides metrics on discussion and question threads that have response activity, such as who posted a discussion/question, which response was selected as the best answer, and who provided the best answer. When filtering by date range for this report, discussions are included based on Original Post date. This report also includes the number of views for each discussion and question thread. This report includes data for both the general discussion and questions thread types. |
Community Member Emails | Provides details about each email sent to members of the community, including date sent, email title, email body, and number of emails sent. |
Community Members Joined and Left |
Lists each user who has joined and left the community within the selected date range, and includes their:
This report also includes the total number of current community members, which can be clicked to view the Current Community Members report (described below). |
Current Community Members |
For each member of the community, this report provides numerous details, including (but not limited to):

Thread Contributors Activity |
Provides details on users who have created discussion and question threads, as well as who contributed replies. You'll see data on how many of each they have posted, how many of their discussions/questions have replies, how many of their discussions/questions have best answers, and how many of their replies on other threads have been selected as best answers. This report includes data for both the general discussion and questions thread types. |
Discussion Dashboard |
Provides a snapshot of the high-level information about the community's Discussion, including:

Message Origination |
Provides a graph and table showing the origination (i.e., via email or website/app) of approved new threads, and replies to messages, sent between the selected date range. NOTE: The graph is shown by default; click the Next Page button (blue arrow) at the top-left to switch to the table view. |
Pending Invitations |
Lists each user who has not yet accepted an invitation to join the community, and provides:
This report also includes the total number of current community members, which can be clicked to view the Current Community Members report (described above). |
Subscriber Activity | Provides information about subscribers who have created new threads, replied to posts, replied to a sender, and/or recommended posts between the selected date within the community's Discussion. |
Threads |
Provides details about all discussion and question threads posted between the selected date range within the selected Discussion(s). This report includes data for both the general discussion and questions thread types. NOTE: Replies are not affected by the date range: All replies a thread has received since it was posted are included. |
Unanswered Discussions |
Provides data about each of your community discussion and question threads that do not have any replies marked as "best answer." The report includes the total number of subscribers and followers, as well as the number of views, for each discussion and question thread. This report includes data for both the general discussion and questions thread types. |
