You can use discussion- and website-based advertising campaigns (called "ads") in strategic locations in your site. As a Super Admin, you can access an ad-based report that provides information about ads that were clicked during a specified date range.
If your site has microsites, you can run a report to get daily counts of views and visitors for a selected microsite to monitor its traffic and activity.
To access the Site Traffic and Ads reports:
- In the Admin Toolbar, click Admin.
- Navigate to Pages > Reports.
- Click the Site Traffic and Ads tab.

Top 10 Referrers chart notes
In this report chart:
- across the bottom, Number of Hits is the number of instances of visitors linking directly from the "referring" site.
- up the left side, Referrers are external sites that host some form of link to the selected microsite.
Not Specified referrers
A value of Not Specified in the Referrer list means that the system was unable to ascertain a referrer domain for a site visit.
This is neither uncommon nor an error; it could be the result of:
- direct traffic to the site (e.g., the visitor typed the URL or clicked a bookmark);
- a browser privacy setting that blocks referrer data; or
- traffic that came from an email client or app that did not pass the referrer info.
Some Not Specified results are typical and should only be a concern if there's a sudden spike in this referrer type.
Report management options
- There are several options at the top of each report that you can use to navigate, refresh, and export its data.
- Some reports feature additional options, such as filtering data via date ranges or choosing specific items to report on (e.g., a specific Automation Rule or community).
All of the available options are described in Admin Reports.
