This article describes several reports, the main focus of which is your subscribers (contacts) and their subscriptions. The reports are:
- Subscription Statistics
- Current Contacts
- Contacts by Day
- Unsubscribes
- Unsubscribes by Day
- Demographic Summary
- Bounces, Opens or Clicks

Access the Subscriber reports
To access the reports:
- Access the Admin interface.
- Navigate to Contacts > Reports.
- Click a report name to access it.
The Summary report has subsets of more in-depth reporting options, such as unsubscribe comments and subscription lengths. To learn about these reports, see Subscriber Summary Reports.
Subscription Statistics
This report presents counts of subscription activity (choose subscribed or unsubscribed) in your account based on the parameters that you set. After setting the parameters that you want, click Submit. The page refreshes and the report displays.
- Type - Choose whether to generate a count of Subscribers or Unsubscribers.
- Source - Accept the default of Both, or filter the subscription activity by Subscription Form or Upload.
- Split by - Accept the default of None (i.e., no look-back time period or threshold), or choose a time period (Day, Month, or Year) in which to organize the subscription-activity data in the report.
- # to View (use with Split by) - Select the number of days, months, or years of data to include in the report. NOTE: The default "end" of whatever range you set is the current date.
- Break by - Accept the default of None (i.e., include all), or filter the report by account-specific Interests or Demographics.
The report:
- title indicates any parameters and filters you've set.
- is one row, but the number of columns is determined by the # to View setting.
Current Contacts
This report presents a list of your account's current subscribers/contacts based on the parameters that you set. After setting the parameters that you want, click Submit. The page refreshes and the report displays.
- Subscription Start Date - Accept the default date range for new subscriptions, or use the dropdowns to set your own. NOTE: The default "end" date is the current date.
- Source - Accept the default of All Sources, or filter the report by Subscription Form or Upload.
- Interest - Accept the default of All Interests, or filter the report by an account-specific Interest.
- Sort by - Accept the default of Email to arrange the report alphabetically (by the email addresses of the subscribers), or arrange the report chronologically (by the dates of the new subscriptions).
The report page has additional settings and options.
- Select Data Format - use to set additional fields (columns) for the report.
- Results per page - use to set the number of results to display.
- Page selection - use the dropdown and the Prev Page and Next Page options to navigate though the report.

Details (in the report) - click one of these links to open the Details pop-up for the subscriber.
- In the pop-up, click the tabs to view various types of information.
The report:
- is sorted alphabetically (by email address).
- includes both Sources and all Interests, unless one of either of these was selected during configuration.
Contacts by Day
This report presents a chronological list of daily subscription counts (and a cumulative total) based on the parameters that you set. After setting the parameters that you want, click Submit. The page refreshes and the report displays.
- Subscription Start Date - Accept the default date range for new subscriptions, or use the dropdowns to set your own. NOTE: The default "end" date is the current date.
- Source - Accept the default of All Sources, or filter the report by Subscription Form or Upload.
The report:
- is sorted chronologically (by oldest).
- includes only those dates on which at least one individual subscribed.
- includes an updated cumulative total as of each date entry.
Unsubscribes
This report presents a list of people who have unsubscribed from your account's mailings based on the parameters that you set. After setting the parameters that you want, click Submit. The page refreshes and the report displays.
- Unsubscribe Date - Accept the default date range for unsubscribes, or use the dropdowns to set your own. NOTE: The default "end" date is the current date.
- Cancel Method - Accept the default of All Cancel Methods, or filter the report by one of the methods in the dropdown.
- Sort by - Accept the default of Email to arrange the report alphabetically (by the email addresses of the unsubscribers), or arrange the report chronologically (by the unsubscribe dates).
The report page has additional settings and options.
- Select Data Format - use to set additional fields (columns) for the report.

- Page selection - use the dropdown and the Prev Page and Next Page options to navigate though the report.
- Re-Sub (in the report) - click one of these links to open the Details pop-up for the subscriber.
The report:
- is sorted alphabetically (by email address).
- includes all methods of cancellation unless one was selected during configuration.
Unsubscribes by Day
This report presents a chronological list of daily unsubscribe counts (and a cumulative total) based on the parameters that you set. After setting the parameters that you want, click Submit. The page refreshes and the report displays.
- Unsubscribe Date - Accept the default date range for unsubscribes, or use the dropdowns to set your own. NOTE: The default "end" date is the current date.
- Cancel Method - Accept the default of All Cancel Methods, or filter the report by one of the methods in the dropdown.
The report:
- is sorted chronologically (by oldest).
- includes only those dates on which at least one individual unsubscribed.
- includes an updated cumulative total as of each date entry.
Demographic Summary
This report presents counts of your subscribers who have provided a value for your account-specific Demographics Category Profile Fields based on the parameters that you set. After setting the parameters that you want, click Submit. The page refreshes and the report displays.
- Category - Accept the default of All Categories, or use the dropdown to set your own.
- Display in Excel? - Accept the default of No, to have the report display in your browser, or choose Yes to generate a Microsoft Excel (.XLS format) version of the report.
Both versions of the report:
- list your Demographics Category Profile Fields.
- Click a Demographic name (web version only) to access the list of subscribers.
- Use the native Excel options to customize the report (e.g., add/remove columns and rows).
- include the number of subscribers who provided a value for the demographic.
Bounces, Opens or Clicks
This report presents a list of your subscriber email addresses to which mailings were sent that bounced or were opened or had a link clicked based on the parameters that you set. After setting the parameters that you want, click Submit. The page refreshes and the report displays.
NOTE: The date range cannot exceed 30 days.
- Bounce, Open or Click Date - Accept the default date range for mailing-related activities, or use the dropdowns to set your own. NOTE: The default "end" date is the current date
- Activity Type - Accept the default of Any bounce type, or filter the report by one bounce type or one activity type in the dropdown.
- Target Groups - Accept the default setting of all Target Groups, or use the Folder and Target dropdowns to filter the report to subscribers in one target group.
The report page has additional settings and options.
- Display in Excel - Click this link at the top of the page to generate a Microsoft Excel (.XLS format) version of the report. Use the native Excel options to customize the report (e.g., add/remove columns and rows).
- Select Data Format - use to set additional fields (columns) for the report.
- Results per page - use to set the number of results to display.
- Page selection - use the dropdown and the Prev Page and Next Page options to navigate though the report.
- Details (in the report) - click one of these links to open the Details pop-up for the subscriber.
The report:
- is sorted alphabetically (by email address).
- includes all activity types that occurred during the date range, unless one was selected during configuration.
- contains different sets of columns based on the selected activity type.
