OTF Target Group in your account
OTF Target Groups are dynamic and are automatically updated with new contacts when they meet the criteria.
NOTE: Only Active contacts can be added to an OTF Target Group (Unsubscribers will not be included).
Below are some examples of how you can use these Target Groups.
You can create a list of:
- Contacts who opened a message within a specified date range and completed a subscription form
- Contacts from a specific domain (e.g., "@higherlogic.com")
- Contacts who clicked a survey link in a message
- Contacts who have the same first name
- Contacts who belong to the same company
Comparison to Action-based Target Groups
There is some overlap between OTF Target Groups and Action-based Target Groups. The main differences are:
- Creating an OTF is very visual. You start with a list of contacts and apply search criteria to narrow the results.
- Action-based Target Groups have more capabilities with the Surveys and Events modules.
