News articles allow for two-way social interaction for members of your Community Essentials site (refer to the image below):
- You can click the Recommend button to recommend a news article. The number of recommends is on the left of the button and is a link that you can click to view the users who recommended.
- At the bottom of the page is the Comment section where you can provide feedback and other thoughts about the news article. To do so, simply click Add. You can edit and delete your own comments by clicking the pencil and trash can icons.
NOTE: Admins can edit and delete all users' comments.
NOTE: While only Super Admins can post news articles, all members can comment on them, if it's enabled. This is controlled, per article, in its configuration settings.
NOTE: The options that are available to you depend on your Community Essentials site's configuration.
NOTE: The term "Recommend" is configurable (e.g., it can be changed to "Like"), so this button might be labeled something different on your Community Essentials site.
