If the community is set to Self Moderation (controlled by admins), all members of the community can send other members' discussion posts and library entries to moderation.
Moderate a discussion post
To moderate an individual Discussion post:
- Navigate to the community, and then click the Discussion tab.
- Click a title to view the discussion.
- Locate the message (or a reply) that you want to send to moderation and click the down arrow next to Reply.
- Select Mark as Inappropriate.
- Specify a reason for the moderation and click Submit.
Although still visible on this page, the content is no longer visible in the community. It is now listed on the Items in Moderation page. At this point, an admin can either accept the moderation request to make the moderation permanent or reject it to once again make the content available.
Moderate a library entry
To moderate an individual library entry:
- Navigate to the community, and then click the Library tab.
- Click a title to view the library entry's page

- On the right side, click the down arrow next to Actions.
- Select Mark as Inappropriate.
- Specify a reason for the moderation and click Submit.
Although still visible on this page, the content is no longer visible in the community. It is now listed on the Items in Moderation page. At this point, an admin can either accept the moderation request to make the moderation permanent or reject it to once again make the content available.
