There are two levels of administrative access on your Community Essentials site, each giving the associated user additional access privileges necessary to fulfill a specific administrative role in your organization:
- Super Admins have the highest level of access to a Higher Logic site: They can do everything a Community Admin can but they also have access to a host of Super Admin-only tools and functionality, all accessible from the Admin interface.
- Community Admins can update their community's join and view permissions, add and remove Community Admin access, restrict and remove current members, run reports, moderate Discussion and Library items, manage community events, and more.
NOTE: See Manage Community and Super Admins to learn how to grant/remove these three levels of access.
Access breakdown by administrative level
The tables in the sections below provide a more comprehensive list of features, tools, and access available to each admin type.
