If your organization is has undergone or will undergo a rebranding, this article will guide you through where to go to update several of the most important areas of your site to ensure it aligns with your new look.
Set up a subdomain
Change site name and path name
- In the Admin Toolbar, click Site Options > Site Setup (right click for a new tab).
- Update the Site Name; this is the title that appears at the top of the Site Admin page, as well as various site lists in the Admin interface.
- Update the Path Name; the path name is part of your site URL (e.g., http://hledu.connectedcommunity.org/pathname).
NOTE: If you get a “Too many redirects” error, contact email@example.com to make an update for you to fix it.
Change site logo
On the images tab, click the button to update your site logo. Follow the steps in the pop-up to upload an image.
Change community/discussion/library names
If you need to update the name of one or more communities, see Rename a Community, Discussion, and Library.
Update the From Address in community emails (HL ONLY)
Let firstname.lastname@example.org know what the From Address should display in community emails.
Change Organization Name and Acronym in Higher Logic (HL ONLY)
Let email@example.com know exactly how you would like the following information about your organization to appear in our Higher Logic system and we will update this for you.
Please note that we cannot change the Tenant Code.
