The HTML Content editor, you can manage:
- text alignment and properties (font, color, style [e.g., headings], and formatting [e.g., bold and italic]);
- bullets and numbering; and
- tables, hyperlinks, and images.
In the editor, you can also click the Source code icon in the toolbar if you want to work directly in the HTML source code of your messages.
Add the HTML Content type to a template
This section describes how to add the HTML Content type in Template Designer.
NOTE: You must do this in order for the HTML Content type to be available in Message Designer.
- From the Structure section, drag a Message Content block and drop it onto the template canvas.
The Message Content block is selected and you can set its properties in the Message Content Properties panel now or return and set them later.
- Scroll down the panel on the left and expand the Message Content section.
- Click the HTML Content block (and any other content types that you want available in this specific Message Content block).
Content blocks become shaded to indicate that they have been selected.
The Content blocks that are selected are now "available" to be inserted in the Message Content section in Message Designer when creating and editing messages that are based on this template.
Repeat this process for any additional Message Content blocks that you want in the template in order to have the HTML Content type be available in messages, as described in the next section.
