Higher Logic provides dozens of widgets that you can use to:
- modernize the look of your community pages,
- enhance the usefulness of your site, and
- increase member engagement.
Access the widgets
- On the Admin Toolbar, click (or right click for a new tab) Edit Page.
- In Page Designer, click the Build tab and scroll down to the Widget section.
- Use the Category dropdown and/or the search field to quickly find a widget.
- Widgets are grouped by category in the dropdown.
- Select the All category to display all of the widgets.
Profile widgets
The widgets in the Profile category are intended for use on Profile pages. Use these widgets to:
- manage what user-based content displays on Profile pages and
- how the content is arranged on the page.
The ProfileBase page
Your site is prebuilt with a page in the CMS called ProfileBase, and this is where the majority of Profile widgets are used.
- Higher Logic recommends not removing or editing these widgets on the ProfileBase page; doing so could break the profile experience for your users.
- These widgets should be used on the ProfileBase page only. Because of this, these widgets are not discussed in this article.
