Higher Logic gives Super Admins the ability to associate a microsite to a Higher Logic Thrive Community.

You can self-manage these microsite-to-community associations on the Associate a Microsite to a Community page in the Admin interface.

NOTE: Associating a microsite to a community allows the microsite to retain its established appearance, navigation, content, and "local ownership" but have the community-level permissions and membership logic of the community to which it is associated.

Microsite association limitation

IMPORTANT: A community can have only one microsite associated with it.

If you use this tool to "add" a microsite to a community that already has an associated microsite, that existing microsite association will be automatically replaced by the one that you add.

Access the microsite tool

1. Access the Admin interface.
2. Navigate to Community > Tools > Associate Microsite to Community.

The Associate a Microsite to a Community page opens. On this page, you can:

• associate ("add") a microsite to a community and
• disassociate ("remove") a microsite from a community.

Add a microsite

On the Add/Change tab:

1. Click the Microsite Path dropdown and select a microsite.
2. Click the Community dropdown and select the community you want to associate the selected microsite with.
3. Click Save.

The page refreshes and display a success message at the bottom.

• If you want to manage other community-microsite associations, click the Refresh button.

Remove a microsite

On the Remove tab:

1. Click the Community dropdown to review every community that has an associated microsite.
2. Choose one.
3. Click Remove.

The page refreshes and display a success message at the bottom.

• If you want to manage other community-microsite associations, click the Refresh button.
