IMPORTANT: This article references blogs and blog articles. Depending on your product model, you might see news and news articles in your site. These are different names for the same feature and references to blogs in this article are also applicable to news.
There are a number of ways to manage an article after it has been published (and even while unpublished, for that matter). From an article's page, you can:
NOTE: You must belong to the HLBlogger Security Group to create and edit blogs. See Spam Mitigation - Restrict Blog Creation to learn more.
- Click Edit to make any desired changes to the article's text and/or configuration (e.g., update its view permissions or commenting setting). If you want to remove an article altogether, click the drop-down and select Delete Blog Post.
- Add/remove Tags to/from the article. Tagging articles is a great way to ensure similar content is grouped together, and it makes it easier for users to find, as clicking a tag displays all content sharing that tag.
- Edit or delete any comments users have made about the article.
Reindex content
Higher Logic gives Admins the ability to "reindex" much of your community content, including Blogs.
- Reindexing is simply "refreshing" the content, similar to reloading a page in a web browser.
To learn about reindexing content in your community (e.g., who site can reindex content; which content can be reindexed), see Reindex Content Items.
