This article provides instructions on how to integrate your Salesforce account with the marketing automation campaigns that are used in your Higher Logic Thrive Marketing Enterprise (Thrive Marketing Enterprise).
Higher Logic Support will assist you with the integration. To contact our support team, create a case.
NOTE: This article references Real Magnet and RM. Real Magnet is a previous name of Thrive Marketing Enterprise, which continues to use legacy settings under that name.
Why integrate marketing automation campaigns?
Thrive Marketing Enterprise marketing automation campaigns are a powerful marketing tool that your sales team can use to see prospects' campaign responses and then strategize how best to engage them. All of this is simplified by having campaign-interaction data written to your Salesforce account.
One benefit of this integration is that you can set up Lead Scoring campaigns which assign a point score to campaign members. Sales personnel can rank prospects based on their point score and effectively prioritize them for follow up.
Installation details & requirements
This section details the installation's pre-requisites, as well as changes that will be noticeable in your Salesforce interface after the integration.
Pre-installation steps
Below is information that you should review in order to ensure a successful installation.
NOTE: The integration is compatible with the Unlimited, Enterprise, and Professional editions of Salesforce only. Be sure your Salesforce is one of these editions.
- The installation requires Salesforce Systems Administrator permissions for the account. If you don't have these permissions, contact someone in your organization who does.
- The login credentials that are passed to Thrive Marketing Enterprise are a Salesforce Standard User License. (Learn about Salesforce standard user licenses.)
- This installation requires that the Basic integration, version 1.3 be installed in Salesforce.
- If you don't have this installed, follow the steps in the linked article.
- Note your Salesforce username and password; you'll have to input these in Thrive Marketing Enterprise.
- Provide the following to your Implementation Project Manager or Support team representative: Salesforce User Name, Salesforce Org Name, and Salesforce Org ID. A Support agent will map to them your Thrive Marketing Enterprise account.
