Before you begin
- Review the Association Anywhere Integration Overview for general information about the integration; more detailed information can be found in the Integration Guide.
- Ensure that your Higher Logic Thrive Marketing Enterprise (Thrive Marketing Enterprise) account is licensed for an integration. You can do this by confirming with your Higher Logic Implementation Project Manager or create a case.
Getting started
Confirm with Association Anywhere that the following endpoints are enabled for your account:
- CENSSAWEBSVCLIB.GET_CUST_INFO_XML
- ECMWEBSVCLIB.GET_DIST_LISTS_XML
- ECMWEBSVCLIB.GET_DIST_LIST_RECIPIENTS_XML
Confirm with Association Anywhere that the Thrive Marketing Enterprise IP addresses have been added to the allowed list:
- 205.201.46.0 /24 (255.255.255.0)
- 205.201.47.0 /24 (255.255.255.0)
Provide the following credentials to your Higher Logic Implementation Project Manager or Support representative:
- Username for production
- Service URL for production
After the integration has been enabled, you can update the Integration Settings and enter the password.
Post-configuration
After the integration is completed:
- Review the integration documentation and learning materials.
- Create an upload job.
In general, this upload job can be a master sync. The details for this Report or Campaign could be one of your largest from Association Anywhere or it could be a new Distribution List that looks for anyone with an email address.
Advanced testing
If you would like to complete additional testing, notify the Higher Logic Implementation Project Manager or the Support representative.
Frequently asked questions
When I select Upload Jobs it says that the API may be down; why?
This is most likely an issue with the credentials.
- Check the credentials that are listed in the Initial Setup section in Association Anywhere Integration Guide.
Why am I getting the message: "This upload job has one or more groups to which you do not have access."?
You might not have access to the group; check whether you do.
If you have an Enterprise account, ensure that:
- you have access to the group that the Upload Job is connected to and
- the group is active (i.e., it has not been archived).
