The Digital Ribbon Assignments report is a basic report that lists:
- each active ribbon and badge, and
- the number of people who have received the ribbon or badge.
TIP: If a ribbon or badge has not been given to anyone in the community, it is not considered "active" and is not included in the report.
The Digital Ribbon Assignments report
To access the report:
- Navigate to Reports > List in the Admin interface.
- Click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right and type "dig" in the Search field.
The list auto-refreshes and displays only the Digital Ribbon Assignments entry.
- Click the Digital Ribbon Assignments listing and click the View button in the upper right.
The Digital Ribbons report opens in a new tab.
The report lists:
- which ribbons and badges have been given and
- the number of community users who have received each.
TIP: Each user count in the Number Of People column is a link to a dedicated Ribbon Assignments sub-report that details which users; it is described in the next section.
The Ribbon Assignments sub-report
The Ribbon Assignments sub-report is unique to each ribbon or badge that has been assigned to or earned by your community users.
It lists just the users who have received the associated ribbon or badge.
To access the sub-report:
- Click a count in the Number Of People column of the Digital Ribbons report (refer to the previous section).
The sub-report, Ribbon Assignments For <name_of_ribbon_or_badge>, opens and you can view the list of ribbon/badge recipients.
- Click the "back" arrow to the left of the Search field to return to the parent report.
See the section, Common report options, in Admin Reports for information on how to navigate, search, and export both of these reports.
Individual Engagement report
While not strictly a "ribbons and badges" report, the Individual Engagement report includes metrics on users who have performed an "engagement activity," such as:
- Documents Created
- Documents Downloaded
- Discussion Threads Created
- Best Answers Received - Discussions
- Answers Created
- Best Answers Received - Q&A
The Individual Engagement report is available in the Admin interface by navigating to:
- Engagement > User Engagement > Report.

- Engagement Summary Dashboard presents a variety of engagement activities in various formats (e.g., lists, pie charts, and line graphs) to make the data easier to understand.
