This article details an issue with validating a users' IP address when trying to log in to Higher Logic Thrive Marketing Professional.
Description
Occasionally, when a user tries to log in to the Admin interface (https://<brand>.informz.net), they are prompted to validate their IP address.
When this happens:
- an email message, with a link, is sent to the user;
- the user has to click the link, which returns them to the login page; and
- on the login page, the user re-specifies their valid login credentials and clicks Login.
However, there are instances where users click the link in the email message and, instead, receive an error page.
Workaround
Users who encounter this error page should use the following workaround.
- Return to the original login page.
- Click Login.
The log in should now be successful.
