This article details an issue with the file-search functionality of Asset Manager in the Higher Logic Thrive Marketing Professional message and template designers.
Description
A recent server upgrade has resulted in an unexpected issue with image-file searching in Higher Logic Thrive Marketing Professional.
The issue is prevalent in the Asset Manager feature of:
- Message Designer
- Template Designer
...in the following Content types:
- Image with Text
- Image
- Image Gallery
Issue details
When you click Select image in the Properties panel for these three Content types, the Asset Manager file-selector panel opens.
- In this panel, the Search field is now case sensitive.
NOTE: You must use the exact letter casing of the file name; otherwise, the Search will not find the file.
EXAMPLE: Searches on lig, LIG, and liG yielded no results. However, searching on Lig finds Lightning.png:
Admin-based Asset Manager unaffected
The issue is not occurring in the Search function in the Admin-based Asset Manager.
- Navigate to Messages > Asset Manager.
Workaround
Due to the nature of this issue, there is not a workaround.
- You must specify the file name exactly.
