While Marketing Automation Professional (MA Professional) provides great Landing Page options in the Landing Page Gallery, sometimes you simply want to “start from scratch” for even more design freedom. With just a few mouse clicks, you can clear away everything and begin anew. Let's learn how.
To create a blank Landing Page:
In this example, you’ll create a blank Content Only landing page. You can apply these steps to Subscription and Unsubscribe Form landing pages as well.
- Navigate to Marketing Automation > Landing Pages.
- Click Create.
- In the Choose a Landing Page Design window, click the first Content Only option.
- Hover over an element on the new landing page to display its option, and then click the red X to delete it.
- Repeat this process for each element on the page. When complete, you'll have a blank slate to build upon.
Establish a Set of Styles for your Landing Page
After creating a blank landing page, you'll want to establish a set of styles that will always be applied to landing pages that are created based on this "template." This best practice ensures that you create your landing page with the look you want from the start.
To access the landing page styles, click the green STYLE tab on the left side of the designer.
See How to Style Your Landing Pages for detailed information on using the Style options to establish a set of styles.
