The Process tab of Landing Page Designer has a "redirect" option that you can use to configure an automatic, post-submission action for subscribers who submit the page. This is beneficial because it ensures that users get necessary follow-up information in the form of:
- a Landing Page,
- a web page, or
- a PDF file.
This article describes how to set up these automatic, post-submission actions, and then test them before they're activated.
Manage a redirect option
NOTE: You can manage redirect options for In Progress pages only. To manage the redirect option for an active Landing Page, refer to Redirect options for Active pages, below.
You can manage the redirect option for a Landing Page by:
- creating a Landing Page and adding a redirect;
- editing a Landing Page that does not have a redirect option and adding one;
- editing a Landing Page to change (e.g., change from web page to PDF file) an existing redirect option; and
- editing a Landing Page to update (e.g., upload a more recent PDF file) an existing redirect option.
To manage a redirect option:
- Access the Admin interface and navigate to Landing Pages > In Progress.
- Hover over the menu icon of the Landing Page you want to manage and click Edit.
- In Landing Page Designer, click the Process tab.
- In the Redirect the user section, choose an option from the dropdown (the default is No Redirect):
The Web Page, Landing Page, and File options are described in the sections below.
Redirect options for Active pages
To manage the redirect option for an active Landing Page:

Redirect to a Landing Page

- Choose Landing Page from the dropdown.
- Choose the target Landing Page from the dropdown.
- Optionally, check the box to Disable email address editing on subsequent form to prevent subscribers specifying a different email address when redirected.
- Save and test the Landing Page to ensure the redirect works as expected.
Redirect to a File
You can have the redirect action automatically open a .PDF file (e.g., a "welcome packet"). The .pdf file opens in the same tab as the Landing Page.
NOTE: PDF is the only valid file type for this option.
- Choose File from the dropdown.
- Asset Manager automatically opens; click a file to select it.
- Asset Manager closes and the name of the file displays in the field.
To choose a different file:
- Click Reset and then click Open Asset Manager.
- Click a file to select it.
- Asset Manager closes and the name of the replacement file displays in the field.
Save and test the Landing Page to ensure the redirect works as expected.
