Your organization can limit who has access to some templates by assigning template permissions. When these permissions are in place, only authorized users will have access to them when creating a new message; the "protected" templates won't be visible for selection by non-authorized users.
NOTE: This is not a default feature in Higher Logic Thrive Marketing Enterprise (Thrive Marketing Enterprise). If you want it enabled in your account, create a case.
Access template permissions
- Navigate to the Tools tab.
- Click Permissions on the left sidebar, and then click Templates by Login.
Assign template permissions
On the Manage Template Permissions by Login page there are two permissions options:
- by login - Choose this to assign permissions by individual login.
Select a user and then in the grid, select which templates the individual is authorized to use.
The selected templates are highlighted; click again to de-select.
- by template - Choose this to assign permissions by template.
Select a template and then in the list, check the boxes to authorize those individuals; uncheck a box to remove the authorization.
Be sure to click Save to preserve your changes.
