Permissions give users access to different areas of your Higher Logic Thrive Marketing Professional (Thrive Marketing Professional) environment. Permissions help you manage your users by letting you categorize which areas of Thrive Marketing Professional you want a specific staff member to access.
NOTE: When you add an authorized user to your account, you must set at least one permission for that user.
Assign permissions to a user
There are several permissions available in Thrive Marketing Professional. To give permissions to a new user:

- Navigate to Admin > Authorized Users > Manage Users.
- Click Create.
- Scroll to the User Permissions section.
- Check the checkbox for each permission you want to give to the user.
Permissions definitions
The following table details all the permissions that are available to Thrive Marketing Professional authorized users. They are presented in the same order as they appear in the User Permissions section.

Reporter | Create and modify mailings. |
Publisher | Publish and schedule mailings. |
Template Designer | Create and modify templates. |
Sales | Import banner ads into Thrive Marketing Professional and attach them to mailings. |
Subscribers | Change the subscriber list (e.g., add subscribers, modify subscribers' profiles, unsubscribe) and create target groups. |
Only Send Email | Only publish and schedule mailings. |
Manager | View various reports in Thrive Marketing Professional. |
Account Manager | Access the account’s monthly invoices. |
Administrator | Change system settings, modify subscription forms, modify templates, and add authorized users to log into the system. |
Block Ordering | Order email and text message blocks for the account. |
Events & Webinars | Create and manage online event registration forms. |
Events: Reports Only | Access events to review reports only. |
Surveys | Allows the user to create online surveys (either in Survista Lite or Survista Pro) and to embed Survista Lite surveys in emails. |
Content Manager | Create landing pages and content in the content manager system. |
Fundraising | Create online fund-raising forms that are used to collect donations online. |
Voting | Access the voting module. |
Google Analytics | Alter the Google Analytics settings for a single mailing.
NOTE: Only admins can change brand-level Google Analytics settings. |
Campaigns | Create, modify, test, and activate campaigns module and view campaign reporting. |
