You can "filter out" Email Service Provider (ESP) domains at send time in order to exclude large groups of Contacts from a mailing.
Use Domain Filter Out to exclude specified email domains from receiving messages. It can help if you see deliverability issues or would like to pause sending to specific domains.
NOTE: This feature is an all-or-nothing scenario that will impact all messages sent from your account. To enable Domain Filter Out, create a case.
Permissions
Domain filter out may be managed by any user with access to the account.
Add domains to filter out
Once you have determined which domains to segment from your send, you can manage these domains from the Tools area.
- Select Tools.
- Select Feature Settings.
- Select Domain Filter Out List.
- Enter the domain names (without http://www.) into the text box.
- Select Submit.
Once enabled, the send time for messages may be altered depending on the number of domains that are filtered out. Upon sending a message, the send page will reflect which domain(s) are being filtered out.
Ultimately, filtering the domain can impact your final send number.
Troubleshooting
