You can track the results of your surveys and forms via the Real Magnet Tracking Module.
To track surveys, click the Track tab and select Track Surveys in the left navigation bar. From the Track a Survey Page, you’ll see each survey’s name, the date it was created, and who it was created by.
Navigation at the top of the page allows you to:
- Access the tracking for a specific survey
- Add or remove columns from the main Track a Survey Page
- Only surveys that include the search term in the name, date created, and created by fields will be displayed.
To access the tracking for a specific survey, double click on the survey name or single-click and click the Track icon in the upper navigation bar.
On the main Survey Report page, you’ll see the total number of survey respondents, the first and last submission dates, in addition to results for each survey question.
Click the “Details” icon in the upper right portion of the main tracking page, and you’ll get a list of all the respondents, showing name, email, date submitted, as well as icon links to the respondent’s record (“Details”) and their Real Magnet history.
From this page you may also view anonymous responses and submitting on the behalf of a recipient.
Real Magnet’s Survey Tracking contains a number of filters that provide different views of your survey data. Access these filters by clicking the Filter icon in the top right corner. You will presented with these filtering options:
- Display questions
- Single question options
- Filter by date
- Advanced search
Allows users to prevent or enable results for a specific question or questions from displaying on a results report. For example, assume a user wants to produce a report with only the responses from questions 2 and 3 (of a 5 question survey). The user would employ this feature to produce such a report.
Combines results of two of your multiple-choice (radio button) questions.
Allows users to create a filtered report showing the survey results of the subset of respondents who answered a particular question in a particular way. For example, a report could show results of the entire for survey for all respondents who answered “Yes” to the question “Will the economy improve this year?”
Groups the respondents by the date(s) on which they answered your survey.
Incorporating the Real Magnet advanced search feature, this filter allows users to create filtered reports based on a wide range of combined parameters, include: response to a specific survey question, contact fields, recipient data (e.g. opened a message, clicked a link), and custom fields. For example, a filtered report could be created of all respondents who answered “Yes” to the question, “Will the economy improve this year”, reside in the State of California, and Opened last month’s newsletter. Here you can get as granular as you’d like.
