Filtering results
Thrive Marketing Enterprise’s Survey Tracking contains a number of filters that provide different views of your survey data. Access these filters by clicking the Filter icon [] in the top right corner. You will presented with these filtering options:
- Display questions
- Crosstabs
- Single question options
- Filter by date
- Advanced search
Display Questions
Allows users to prevent or enable results for a specific question or questions from displaying on a results report. For example, assume a user wants to produce a report with only the responses from questions 2 and 3 (of a 5 question survey). The user would employ this feature to produce such a report.
Crosstabs
Combines results of two of your multiple-choice (radio button) questions.
Single-Question Options
Allows users to create a filtered report showing the survey results of the subset of respondents who answered a particular question in a particular way. For example, a report could show results of the entire for survey for all respondents who answered “Yes” to the question “Will the economy improve this year?”
By Date
Groups the respondents by the date(s) on which they answered your survey.
Advanced
Incorporating the Thrive Marketing Enterprise advanced search feature, this filter allows users to create filtered reports based on a wide range of combined parameters, include: response to a specific survey question, contact fields, recipient data (e.g. opened a message, clicked a link), and custom fields. For example, a filtered report could be created of all respondents who answered “Yes” to the question, “Will the economy improve this year”, reside in the State of California, and Opened last month’s newsletter. Here you can get as granular as you’d like.
